The Business of Blogging – Backstage

We left Palm Beach this morning with beautiful, 60 degree weather. And we were greeted with a snow storm. I swear I’m not complaining (I totally am) but seriously…I am now begging my husband to move me South. Anyway, we had an absolute blast with Claudia and Jennifer’s gorgeous party and finally getting a chance to spend some QT at The Breakers. Together, the three put on a luxury showcase that put all others I’ve ever seen to shame. It was magical. Literally.

And while we’ll be doing a full wrap-up with on SMP with some professional images, here is a little wrap-up. Oh and more dresses as promised.

The details were INSANE. The table settings that were done by The Wedding Library were right out of my own fantasy of a wedding, ghost chairs and all. Vendors like Lisa Hoffman, Elan Documentary, Carlos Baez, the cute cute girls from Bubbles and Beauties and the always adorable Heather Lowenthal of Posh Parties and Paper. Oh and the food, INSANITY. We’re talking mini cheeseburgers and fries, corn fritters with these little mugs of beer, mini grilled cheese and tomato soup. I was in mini food heaven.

And like I mentioned in my last post, the highlight for me was the fashion show. Such awesomeness. Here are a few more pics…

Again, we’ll be doing a proper round-up on SMP that will include a few finds you are going to DIE over. A huge, huge thank you to Joan Bevers, Claudia Hanlin and Jennifer Zabinski for bringing us in to such a special event.

Such a fabulous show and always nice to see you, Abby. I absolutely LOVED that flower market the Breakers Design Studio and the Kenneth Pool gown.

The ghost chairs look fantastic in that first picture. What a way to have a non distracting piece of furniture in the middle of an elegant affair.
